Who you are as a person is more important than what you are as a basketball player on the 

court. A good person on and off of the court is a good basketball player, as opposed to someone who's only good on the court. Someone with a good personality and good sportsmanship is much better than someone with poor attitude and poor sportsmanship. Always strive to be the best person and best basketball player on and off of the court no matter what. Always try to be the best person that you can be and always do the right thing because it is the right thing to do.  It's important to be the best person that you can be, Always be a positive person and a good leader when doing anything whether its playing basketball or not. Your performance is judged on your skills but on your love for the game and your character on and off of that court. There is nothing more important than having a great character and being and great person. Always strive to be the best person and the best character on and off of the field .
