Thanksgiving Week

Over the Thanksgiving week and the weekends I didn't do very much. I had Thanksgiving and I watched the football games that were going on during thanksgiving. Some of the football games going on during thanksgiving were the Lions vs Bear, Redskins vs Cowboys, and the Falcons vs the Saints. Throughout the week I just watched shows and listened to music. I went to Walmart the day after Black Friday to see what there was left and if there was still any deals. I didn't find much left when I got there. I did some homework over the week for classes that I had homework in such as biotech and sports medicine. I ate on Thanksgiving some Ham, Corn, Mashed potatoes, and some Hawaiian bread. I didn't eat turkey because I don't really enjoy it, I just don't like the way it taste. I also went to target and best buy in Hollywood and I bought myself  tiny waterproof speaker. I didn't do much the rest of the time besides lay down and watch some different shows on my phone. Overall I had a good Thanksgiving break.

Always do what is right because you know that it is the right thing to do even when others are telling you to do something else. Do what is right because you know that it is the right thing to do even if no one else is doing it, you know it is right. We should all be able to make the decision of doing what is right because it is the right thing not because other people are telling you to do it. We know as a person what the rules are and what is right and what is wrong for us to do . We shouldn't do something that is wrong just because other people are doing something that is wrong, if we know it's wrong then we shouldn't be doing it . We should be doing what we know is wrong even if no one else follows you in doing the right. You can be the light for other when they are doing something that they shouldn't be doing. You can step in and show them even if everyone else is doing something that is wrong you can stand out and do what is right because you know that it is the right thing to be doing. Be that light for others when they can't do what is right because everyone else is tempting to do something that is wrong. Be the beacon for people to do right when they are afraid to do right by themselves. Don't give into temptations and do what is wrong. Always be a CTR person and choose the right even when no one else will.

Thanksgiving is a holiday celebrated in various different places on different dates, it began
as a day of giving thanks for the blessing of the harvest and of the following year. It was first
celebrated by pilgrims after their first harvest in the new world in October 1621, it was feast
that lasted three days.

It wasn’t until 1863, in the midst of the civil war that president Abraham Lincoln proclaimed
Thanksgiving a national day to be held in November. It all began in September 1620, a small
ship called the Mayflower left Plymouth, England with over 100 people, all seeking something
from this new lands.The uncomfortable crossing lasted 66 days when they finally dropped the
anchor near the tip of Cape Cod, far north of the Hudson River, their intended destination.
After a month had passed they crossed Massachusetts Bay.

Don't sacrifice most for something that you only want at the moment, see it often and keep pushing to what you want the most. Always choose to keep striving towards your goals in life rather than what you want the most for the meantime. Just look at your goals every time you want something now, remind yourself of what you want most in life and don't sacrifice it. Make it a point to look inside of you goals journal to find what you want most in life and not what you want right now. Keep your eyes on your goal even if you are filled with temptations of other things in life. Always try to achieve your goals in life rather than trying to have something that you want at the moment, you may not want that later on in life but you will always want what you want most. You'll always want your goal over what you want right now. Be a CTR person do good and make sure that you are striving to meet those goals you set for yourself and achieve what you want the most in your life. Hold yourself accountable to meetings those goals and doing your best when trying to meet them. Don't sacrifice it for what you want the most in life.

Veterans Day

Veterans Day is a public holiday that is held on the anniversary of the end of world war I, observed annually on November 11th, to honor those who fought in the world war and honor all the victims of the war.

It is on November 11th

It is important to show honor on Veterans Day because those people who died that day fought for our country and so we can have what we have today. These people represented us and died for the country that we live in, the least we can do is show honor for them on this day and anytime we can.

Some ways we can show our honor on Veterans Day is to express gratitude when you see a person in uniform, Make thank you cards to Veterans, visit a Veterans hospital, wear a red poppy flower, talk to your family about why we honor Veterans on Veterans Day, Donate, fly a flag correctly, and attend Veterans Day events with your family and friends.

Something special that I've always wanted to do is have a conversation with a Veteran on how it was to serve as a part of this country and how it’s like serving our country. Also I found that Veterans Day replaced Armistice Day in 1954.

I feel like Veterans Day is one of the most important holidays in the united states and it’s been one of the most important holidays for years now. I feel like we should all show our gratitude on Veterans Day to all the Brave Veterans that fought for us and the fallen Veterans. We must show our gratitude to all and show how important they are to this country. In addition to this we should  all do something special for Veterans such as Visit a hospital or right them some thank you cards. Show them what they mean to this country and how they have all of our respect and show how we honor them. To me Veterans Day is very important because of how highly and how much respect i have for all those who serve for our country.

 A good name is important to have, it is important to be a good person because people can tell a lot about a person just by their name. If you have a bad name for yourself then people will know you're not that great of a person. You want to be know as a great person within your life time so people can think of you as a great person within your lifetime and you will be known. You will have a great name if you are a great person. Everyone will hear your name and know that your trustworthy and a great person within yourself. Just life LaVell Edwards, everyone will hear that name and know what he has done and know that he is a great person within yourself. You can judge someone based off of the name that they have and be able to tell whether they are a good person or not based on the name and reputation they have given themselves. This is why it is so imperative to give yourself a good name in your life and be the best person you can be. You don't want people to hear your name and think of bad things about you or what you have done within your lifetime. so always choose the right, the thing that is more than great riches is your own name you create for yourself. A good name is the key to riches within your life. Be a CTR person and you will have a name for yourself.
